How do I apply?

You can apply by submitting a form through our Join Us page.

Who can apply to perform in the Acoustic City program?

Any type of act is welcome! Musicians, dancers, jugglers, puppeteers, acrobats, and more can apply. If you have a unique talent and love performing in public spaces, this is for you.

Do I need to be from the EU to participate?

No! While the project highlights artists from EU member states, performers from other countries are also welcome to apply.

What does the program offer performers?

Performers receive:

New performance locations in Dubrovnik's historic streets.
Free accommodation and two meals a day (breakfast and dinner).
On-ground support from the Park Orsula team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

What is the Audience Choice Award?

During the program, audiences will vote for their favorite performers. The winner gets a spot at the prestigious Park Orsula Festival during the summer, with travel, accommodation, and meals covered, plus a performance fee.

What kind of audience should I expect?

Dubrovnik attracts a mix of locals and international tourists. During the festivals, you’ll perform for lively, diverse crowds eager to experience unique art and performances.

When will the program take place?

The pilot program runs on several key dates in 2025, including:

St. Blaise’s Day: February 1–5
Dubrovnik Carnival: March 1–5
Easter Festivities: April 18–May 4
Park Orsula Summer Stage: June 1–September 30
Good Food Festival: October 9–19
Lumiart Festival: November 7– 10
Winter Festival: December 12–31

What equipment should I bring?

Bring your essential equipment. If you can’t transport something, the Park Orsula team will help you source it locally.

Are the performances paid?

Performers earn voluntary contributions from bystanders and have the chance to win the Audience Choice Award. However, members of our platform will receive inquiries and offers to perform at other commercial events in Dubrovnik throughout the year.

Is the program open year-round?

The current focus is on specific dates in 2025. However, the long-term goal is to make Dubrovnik’s streets open to performers year-round.

How does this program contribute to the city?

Acoustic City enriches Dubrovnik’s cultural life, fostering interaction between locals, tourists, and performers. It also aims to extend the city’s festival-like atmosphere into the off-season.

The goal is to build a lasting network of diverse performers, strengthen off-season events, and establish Dubrovnik as a year-round cultural hub.

How is my data processed?

All the information you provide is used strictly for our internal purposes to manage the Acoustic City program. However, your featured video and stage name may be publicly presented on our website and social media channels for promotional purposes.
